Hexa Tile Generator
A dedicated Tile Generator to work with hexagons, including some predefined inputs and allowing to connect your own hexagon-type inputs.
This node has a color version.
NOTE: these hexagons are not 100% regular, since it’s NOT geometrically possible to fit a a genuine hexagons pattern on a perfect square, maintaining the tiling around. Other than that, results are absolutely credible.
Click and expand the interface on the right, to see that we have countless control possibilities, practically the same as in a Tile Generator, but oriented to work with hexagons.
We also have a number of interesting predefined hexagonal-based shapes, with the possibility of modifying several of their parameters.
Of course we can work with up to 6 custom inputs, in which case we can also activate an option to scale ‘Hexa Triads’, which is very interesting on certain situations (see video).
