Phyllotaxis
Rearranges the pattern input into a Phyllotaxis / Fermat’s spiral. You can use standard shapes, already included, or your custom ones, up to 6 inputs.
This node has a color version.
Designer does not have a node to obtain this type of tiling, such as those found in sunflower seeds.
It is true that you can find some other nodes created by third parties that can do it. But I think that none of them have the large number of options that we have in this one.
We can make the diameter increase until it goes out of our document, but we have a ‘smart’ crop that eliminates the seeds of the outline.
We have a special form of Fermat spiral, which is based on the golden number (and this very characteristic form is original). But we can deviate from the golden number to obtain other very interesting results.
And finally, we have all kinds of controls for Scale, Position, Rotation and Luminance. Including variations based on number and the use of external maps to control all of this.
This allows a kind of ‘organic packaging’ which is pleasant to eye, since there is some structure below and it does not overlap.
