Shapes by Points
This is a small collection with four nodes to allow the creation of basic shapes using points directly controlled by the user and also combined with sliders.
Halves by points: to create Horizontal, Vertical , +45 and -45 halves with a single point control. Free Halves with 2 points and curved ones using 3 points and a bezier quadratic curve. With output controls to get mass, gradients or lines.
Triangles by points: to create a different triangles: right, isosceles, equilateral, and free triangles, with controls through points, sizes or height. With output controls to get mass, gradients or lines.
Quads by points: to create a different quads: squares, rectangles and free quads with controls through points, sizes or height. With output controls to get mass, gradients or lines.
Circles by points: to create a circle by using different methods: center and size by slider, center and point to determine radius, 2 points and 3 points. For all cases you can add a relative inner size to create a ring. With output controls to get mass, gradients or lines.
UPDATE July 26, 2024 - Just download again and substitute the SBS
Small fix to define when “Height” slider should appear for Right and Isosceles Triangles.
This:
input["shape"]<3 && input["iso_type"]==false
Has been changed to this:
input["shape"]<3 && ( input["shape"]==1 || input["iso_type"]==false )
More details in this “Substance 3D Tools” section, side by side with other resources.
